The ball comes toward your side. Drag your racket to meet it. The angle and speed of your swing determines the return shot.
Win points by getting the ball past your opponent. Win enough points to advance to tougher opponents and higher ranks.
The goal of Tennis Dash is straightforward: return every shot your opponent sends your way and place your returns where they can't reach them. Each successful rally earns you points, and winning a set of points wins you the match. As you accumulate wins, you climb the leaderboard and face increasingly skilled opponents.
The game features a simplified top-down tennis court. You control the player on one side, while your AI opponent occupies the other. The net divides the court in the middle. Balls that land outside the court lines are out, and shots that hit the net don't count.
Pay attention to the court boundaries. Aiming close to the lines makes it harder for your opponent to return, but also increases the risk of hitting out.
A controlled return that keeps the ball in play. Move your racket at moderate speed to produce a balanced shot with good accuracy. This is your bread-and-butter shot — reliable and safe.
Swipe your racket quickly across the ball to generate a high-speed return. Power smashes are harder for your opponent to reach, but they require precise timing. Mistiming a power shot can send the ball flying out of bounds.
Move your racket slowly when making contact with the ball. This produces a soft shot that barely clears the net. Drop shots are devastating when your opponent is positioned deep in the court, but they're risky if the opponent is close to the net.
The angle at which your racket contacts the ball determines the direction of your return. By positioning your racket slightly to one side of the ball, you can create sharp cross-court angles that pull your opponent wide. This opens up the court for a winning shot on your next return.
Pay attention to your opponent's position before they hit the ball. If they're shifted to one side, the open court is your target. As you progress through the ranks, opponents become better at covering the court, so you need to set up your shots two or three moves ahead.
Mixing up the pace of your shots keeps your opponent off balance. Follow a hard power smash with a soft drop shot, or use two standard returns to lull them into a rhythm before unleashing a winner. Variety is the key to beating advanced opponents.
The best Tennis Dash players don't just react — they predict. Watch the patterns in your opponent's shots. Most AI opponents have tendencies that you can exploit once you learn to read them.
